He initially came to light in 2020 when he released his hit song, Like I Want You. The song was a hit among fans, catapulting his career. His original sound is a mix of soul and modern R&B, which takes the hearts of the listeners with its vulnerability and depth. In 2020, his first EP, Take Time, won him a Grammy nomination.
