Flo Rida (September 16, 1979) is an American rapper who was born Tramar Lacel Dillard and whose stage name is Floh RY-d?. He was born in Miami Gardens, Florida. His breakthrough hit "Low" smashed the record for digital download sales upon its release in 2007 and remained at the top of the US charts for ten weeks.
Mail on Sunday, Flo Rida's first studio album, peaked at 4 on the US album chart in 2008. R.O.O.T.S. followed the album the next year. Following Only One Flo (Part 1) in 2010 and Wild Ones (2012), both of his albums were certified platinum by the US Billboard 200.
Flo Rida is among the most successful musicians of all time, with record sales of over 80 million units worldwide. His repertoire includes hits like "Right Round," "Club Can't Handle Me," "Good Feeling," "Wild Ones," "Whistle," "I Cry," "G.D.F.R." and "My House."
He and Senhit represented San Marino at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Flo Rida was named an ambassador for Celsius energy drinks from 2014 to 2018, and a jury in his case against the company granted him $82.6 million on January 18, 2023.
