Tamia Monique Carter (January 9, 2000) is an American rapper. She is professionally known by her stage name, Flo Milli. She was born in Mobile, Alabama. When her songs "Beef FloMix" and "In the Party" became sensations on TikTok's social media app, she quickly shot to fame and was awarded gold certification from the RIAA. After that, she inked a record deal with RCA Records and Justin Goldman's '94 Sounds.
Flo Milli's breakout single, "Beef FloMix," was originally recorded in October 2018 and was a freestyle over the instrumental of rapper and producer Ethereal's 2014 tune "Beef," which featured rapper Playboi Carti. It topped Spotify's Viral 50 in April 2019 and became a social media sensation, especially on Instagram and TikTok. The final studio-quality cut of the song dropped in July of this year, and it has already racked up more than 46 million Spotify plays. Flo Milli's new song "In the Party" came out in October of this year. As of this writing (December 2019), she has played at Rolling Loud Los Angeles.
By the year's end, she'd inked deals with '94 Sounds, the company run by music producer Justin Goldman, and RCA Records. Her single "My Attitude" came out in February of 2020. She has released two songs in 2020: "Not Friendly" in March and "Eat It Up" in April. The single "Like That Bitch" by Flo Milli, produced by J. White Did It, was released in June 2020. This song's music video and accompanying single, "Weak," were released in July 2020. Flo Milli's debut mixtape, Ho, Why Are You Here?, was also released in July to widespread acclaim.
