Felly Information
Felly is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper. He was born in Trumbull, Connecticut. In 2013, he completed his senior year of high school at Fairfield College Preparatory School in Fairfield, Connecticut. While still in high school, he started releasing music. He also developed a following on YouTube by producing and promoting beats. He continued his education at the University of Southern California (USC), where he studied music after receiving his diploma. Felly started 2273 Records in college with fellow USC students Jake Standley and Gyyps (with whom Felly frequently collaborates). In 2017, he received his USC degree.
Felly produced and dropped multiple mixtapes and an EP while enrolled at USC. When Waking Up To Sirens, which included the single "Fabrics," was released in May 2014, it became his first effort to garner significant media notice. Madlib ended up performing as the opening act as a result. A second mixtape, Milk & Sugar, was published in November 2014. Ari Lennox made a cameo appearance on the song "Tell Me" from that collection. The single "7th King" was included in his third mixtape; This Shit Comes in Waves, released in July 2015. His 2016 tour, dubbed the "7th King Tour," which consisted of 21 events across the United States, was named after that song.
Young Fel was an EP that Felly released in July 2016 and was supported by a new tour. The song "Desert Eagle" (with Gyyps) was included in the compilation, and Felly produced a music video. He would start the "Mermaid Gang" tour in 2017, which was titled after the band that Trip Carter, Gyyps, and Felly founded.
