Enuff Znuff Information
Enuff Z’Nuff is a rock band from Blue Island, Illinois, and pronounced “enough’s enough.” The group was founded by bassist Chip Z’Nuff and singer Donnie Vie in 1984. The band’s music is classified as hard rock, power pop, glam metal, and psychedelic rock. The current lineup of Enuff Z’Nuff consists of Chip Z’nuff (Gregory Rybarski) – bass, rhythm guitar; Tory Stoffregen – lead guitar, slide guitar, backing vocals; Daniel B. Hill – drums, percussion; and Alex Kane– rhythm guitar, keyboards, backing vocals. There is a long list of former members who left the band in different years.
The band was originally named “Enough Z’Nuff” but was revised in 1989. The group released its first major label, a self-titled debut album, the same year. Before releasing this album, the band has also released a single, “Fingers On It,” featured in the movie Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. Enuff Z’Nuff released two charting hits with the psychedelic-flavored pop-rock entitled “Fly High Michelle” and “New Thing.”
Some of the other notable albums by Enuff Z’Nuff are Strength (1991), Animals with Human Intelligence (1993), Tweaked (1995), Paraphernalia (1999), Welcome to Blue Island (2003), Dissonance (2009), Clowns Lounge (2016), Diamond Boy (2018), and Brainwashed Generation (2020). The band also released five Live albums and three compilations entitled Favorites (2003), Greatest Hits (2006), and Covered In Gold (2014). A few of their notable singles are “You Got A Hold Of Me” (1994), “Life Is Strange” (1996), and “There Goes My Heart” (2000).
