Elevations are known as a vintage soul explosion that originated from Honolulu, Hawaii. The music of the band is classified as a soul and funk band. Elevations is a 9-piece ensemble consisting of Kehaulani White, Cheyenne Leong, and Aiddy Weisbecker on vocals; Eric White on tenor sax, Evan Miyawaki on bari sax; John Iyoki on trumpet; John LeBlanc on guitar; Keli’i Wong on drums; and Antonio Burruso on bass.
According to Elevations, the blend of blues and funk resulted in a vintage soul explosion. The band solely focuses on the origin, the source of the resultant soul. The sound of Elevations is raw, gritty, and authentic. The band acts as a bridge between the original artists and the modern-day world by following notable acts such as Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Saunn & Starr, and Lee Fields and The Expressions. The group members strive to make a difference in music and create original music to entertain the world.
