Electric Wizard Information
Electric Wizard is doom metal, stoner rock and sludge metal band that hails from Dorset, England. This band came into being in the year 1993 and have recorded a total of nine albums. Out of these nine albums, which include Electric Wizard (1994), Come My Fanatics… (1997), Dopethrone (2000), Let Us Prey (2002), We Live (2004), Witchcult Today (2007), Black Masses (2010), Time to Die (2014), Wizard Bloody Wizard (2017). Two of their albums have become now the Genre landmarks. These two albums are; Come My Fanatics… (1997) and Dopethrone (2000).
Music by Electric Wizard consists of different elements from stoner and sludge traits, and their lyrics focus on the occult, witchcraft, H.P. Lovecraft, horror films, and cannabis. In the year 2014, Electric Wizard came out with their record label called “Witchfinder Records,” which was an imprint of Spinefarm Records. Electric Wizard plans to release all their future albums under this record label.
