Drew Parker is an American country singer-songwriter from a small, unincorporated town of Stewart, Georgia. He began to sing when he was only three, and by the age of 14, Parker picked up the guitar and taught himself how to play. He built significant confidence at a young age and shared his early influences like Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Travis Tritt, Keith Whitley, and Alan Jackson. Parker began to expand his musical abilities when he turned 18 by learning to play the piano. In 2015, Parker moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and two years later, he signed a publishing deal with RiverHouse/WarnerChappell.
Parker’s notable qualities include honesty, genuine nature, and an old soul that resonates with many. He is one of the most talented songwriters and has written several hits. Parker wrote for Luke Combs and Jake Owen. For Combs, he co-wrote his debut platinum record “This One’s For You” and “1, 2 Many,” while for Owen, it was the single “Homemade.”
Parker was able to accomplish things he never dreamed were possible within a short period of a few years. Although it takes folks more than ten years to make a name in the Music City, Parker proved it’s not the same for everyone.
