Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio, plays host to Domefest, a three-day music event, every year. Visitors can enjoy camping, free workshops, and live music. The festival's fundamental goals are the promotion of social interaction, the enjoyment of excellent music, and the commemoration of the passage of time. Jeremy Schon is responsible for conceiving and developing Domefest.
Schon is a regular at Domefest as a member of the psychedelic funk band Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. More than 200,000 people listen to Pigeons Playing Ping Pong monthly on Spotify. The album Psychology contains the band's most well-known single, "Horizon." It's been streamed over 11.5 million times on Spotify alone. In previous years, Domefest has included acts such as Papadosio, Lotus, Twiddle, and The Magic Beans. Domefest will feature fantastic live performances and free workshops for everyone who comes.
Previous years' workshops have featured traditional arts and crafts and coping mechanisms. Popular festival workshops have included Rhythmetrix Group Drumming, Live Fantasy Pigeons Draft, Glassblowing Demonstrations, and Radiant Body Yoga. Domefest provides a wonderful opportunity for attendees to reacquaint with themselves and their neighbors.
