Deas-Guyz is an American band that features a fantastic mix of dance beats, reggae, rock, pop, blues, rhythm, and old Motown. The group’s musical selection includes Montell Jordan, Pharrell Williams, Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, The Drifters, and The Temptations. The band was officially formed in January 2000; it was named “Nu World Beat.” The group began performing live concerts and eventually evolved to be known as “Deas Guyz.”
Every member of the Deas-Guyz adds a diverse and rich musical background. All band members are experienced and have performed in various festivals, bands, and clubs.
Deas-Guyz has traveled to several hot spots in Georgia, South Carolina, Mount Pleasant, Newberry, and Pawley’s Island. The band has also performed in Knoxville, New York, Las Vegas, Orlando, and Chicago.
