Daniel Rodriguez, a singer-songwriter from Colorado, uses his acoustic guitar to create enduring, catchy choruses for his poetic and reflective folk tunes. Rodriguez has "a timeless voice, deep and hearty, worn but soothing," according to Boulder Weekly.
Rodriguez is experienced in the Americana tour scene, having spent more than ten years as a founding member and principal songwriter of the mystical folk group Elephant Revival. Elephant Revival had six albums and played many concerts and festivals across the country and abroad before going on a sabbatical following their third headlining Red Rocks event in May 2018.
Following Elephant Revival's sabbatical announcement, Rodriguez immediately embarked on a solo tour to fill any potential musical hole. Along with being added to various events like the Northwest String Summit, Lyons Folk Fest, Jam Cruise, and WinterWonderGrass, he has performed on stages alongside acts like Jim James, Gregory Alan Isakov, Mandolin Orange, Josh Ritter, Fruition, and John Craigie.
On February 15, 2019, Daniel Rodriguez published his first EP of songs under the name Your Heart The Stars The Milky Way. Sojourn of a Burning Sun, his first full-length album, was released on Renew Records on August 28, 2020.
