Convictions Information
Christian metalcore band Convictions hail from Ohio, USA. The group first performed in 2012. Convictions is a two-man band featuring Michael Felker on vocals and Zachary Schwochow on drums. The band calls the style they've developed "Aggressive Worship," a passionate blend of hardcore and ambient music that evokes the spirit. The band's debut album, 2012's I Am Nothing, was released after its members got together. Following the departure of founding vocalist Dan Gardner in late 2013, the band released the Unworthy EP.
Hallowed Spirit | Violent Divide, released in 2015, peaked at #6 on iTunes' list of the Top 100 Heavy Metal Albums. This resulted in their 2016 first album; I Will Become, and their contract with Invogue Records. Their third studio album, Hope for the Broken, was released in June 2018. On May 7 of that year (2021), they dropped their new album; I Won't Survive.
