Brandon Caskey (August 28, 1992) is an American rapper. He deals in Hip Hop, Southern hip hop, and trance genres. He is better known by the mononym Caskey and was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Caskey used to listen to pure heavy metal genres at a very young age because of his keen interest in instrumentation. However, Caskey got attracted to rap groups because of his older sister, N.W.A and Three 6 Mafia. It was during his elementary school years. Shortly after, Caskey listened to some popular rappers, including Eminem, Nas, and Dead Prez.
Caskey would spend his entire childhood writing songs in other music genres, but eventually, he rapped at Winter Springs High School in his sophomore year. He released two underground mixtapes in his early years, entitled The Intangibles and Blowin' Out My Mind Vol. 1. "Keep It on the Low" was the debut single by Caskey that came out on December 8, 2012. The song featured Kyle Denmead from the hit No Complaints mixtape. After nearly ten years of releasing mixtapes and working with Keep Pushin Entertainment, such as No Complaints (2012), Caskey got signed to Republic Records and Birdman's Cash Money Records in August 2012.
On August 1, 2017, Caskey released another hit entitled Generation. It was followed by a new mixtape named "Speak of the Devil" in 2018. "Music To Die To" was the next big surprise for the fans. Since then, Caskey has been releasing a steady stream of mixtapes, feature verses, singles, as well as two albums. Caskey was also featured on the song "Sunshine," included in the compilation album Rich Gang by Cash Money Records.
