Burning Witches Information
Burning Witches is a Swiss heavy metal band. The current lineup consists of Lala Frischknecht (drums), Jeanine Grob (bass), Larissa Ernst (guitar), Romana Kalkuhl (guitar), and Laura Guldemond (vocals). Directed by V.O. Pulver (Poltergeist, Gurd) and Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer, Burning Witches released their self-titled debut album in 2017. (Destruction).
Pledge Music served as the album's distributor. The album features a cover of a song originally performed by Judas Priest (Jawbreaker). On the Swiss album charts, the record peaked at position #73. After this release, Burning Witches began working on material for their follow-up album. The signing was announced on February 14, 2018, by Nuclear Blast. While that was going on, Dutchwoman Sonia Nusselder took over for Wyss.
After that came a tour supporting Grave Digger as an opening act. On September 12, 2018, the first album trailer was made available online. After that, they released three more digital singles. On November 9, 2018, their album Hexenhammer was made available to the public. Burning Witches performed at three major 2019 summer festivals: Wacken, Summer Breeze, and Rockharz Open Air. On March 6, 2020, Pulver and Schirmer released their newest studio album, Dance with the Devil.
