Bryson Djuan Tiller (January 2, 1993) is a multi-talented American artist performing music since 2011. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky. His official career began with the release of Killer Instinct Vol. 1, a mixtape. The 2015 release of Tiller's single "Don't," which reached the 20th spot on the Billboard Hot 100, catalyzed his debut mainstream breakthrough.
His breakthrough led to a deal with RCA Records and the lead single to his debut studio album, Trapsoul (2015), which hit the top 10 on the Billboard 200 and includes "Exchange," which got him a Grammy nomination.
The second studio album by Tiller, True to Self, was released in 2017 and debuted at one on the Billboard 200. Along with Rihanna, he appeared on DJ Khaled's smash hit "Wild Thoughts" that same year; the song reached the number 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
Tiller won two BET Awards for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and Best New Artist, and Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer gave him the key to the city in March 2016.
Before the release of A Different Christmas on November 19, 2021, Tiller announced the album on November 10, 2021. According to Tiller, Justin Bieber (who appears on the track "Lonely Christmas") and Ariana Grande were the creative forces behind the project.
"Outside," Tiller's September 8, 2022 song, borrows The Ying Yang Twins' 2005 hit "Wait (The Whisper Song)." The Ying Yang Twins made a cameo in the music video for the song that Tiller released on October 18, 2022.
