Blanco Diablo Information
Blanco Diablo is a rock band that originated from Charlotte, NC. The current lineup of the band consists of Jamie Ray - guitar/lead vox, Patrick Jason - bass/backing vox, and Denver Juliano - drums/backing vox. Blanco Diablo has established itself as a band with a distinctive style. Whether it is about playing full-blown electric or soulful, bluesy jams, the band knows every trick to impress fans. The group often performs in New York City, the Southeast, and the U.K.
Blanco Diablo released its debut CD entitled Paper Poison Revolution on Rock Ridge Music, released on April 25th, 2006. "Fix Me Again" was an exclusive single included in the CD that earned 6,000 downloads after one week on WindowsMedia.com. In the same year, the band toured the U.K. and performed at the acclaimed Oswestry Music Live Festival in Shropshire County, England. Around 12,000 people attended the festival. Again in 2007, the band returned to the same festival with even bigger crowds.
In 2008, Blanco Diablo concluded its U.K. tour with a recording of their sophomore disc. It was recorded along with Grammy-nominated producer Chris Tsangarides at the Ecology Rooms Studio (Kent, England). The group gained regular radio play for their debut single "Fix Me Again," in the Southeastern U.S. on several stations, including WRXR, WOBX, WXQR, WEND, and WEND. Some of the other singles by the group are "Killing Kings" for the "Punisher: War Zone," and "Best of Me."
