Angel Blue (May 3, 1984) has a birth name, “Angel Joy Blue.” Blue is an American-National classical crossover artist and operatic soprano. She is an international performer who earned countless awards, including Miss Hollywood awards. She was described as “the next Leontyne Price” by Plácido Domingo.
Angel Blue started her career by performing as the featured soloist (lead roles) in several events held at famous locations such as; Los Angeles Opera, Canadian Opera Company, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Auditorio Nacional de Música, Royce Hall, Berlin Philharmonic, Munich Philharmonic, and several more. Clara in Porgy and Bess was her debut role for the San Francisco Opera Company.
She has also performed several roles as operatic repertoire including Contessa Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Violetta (La Traviata), Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor), Musetta and Mimi (La Boheme), Giulietta and Antonia (Tales of Hoffmann), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), and the list goes on. Mimì in La Bohème was her debut in Metropolitan Opera in 2017.
Blue is the favorite personality for several magazines such as TimeOut, The Times, The Telegraph, BBC's InTune with Sean Rafferty, and a few more. She was a finalist to 2009 Operalia and received the first position in the Zarzuela competition while 2nd in the Opera Competition.
Angel Blue has sung the National Anthem at the Border Governors Conference, which was hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger, governor of California. She also sang for California Women's Conference, which was hosted by Maria Shriver, California's First Lady.
