Andre L. Adams (March 11, 1970) is an American rapper who is originally from San Francisco, California. He is better known by his stage name Andre Nickatina. He also used to perform under the stage name of Dre Dog. Adams was born in San Francisco's Fillmore District and attended the Galileo Academy of Science and Technology but eventually dropped out.
Andrea Nickatina first appeared on the Bay Area rap scene in 1993, under his old stage name, Dre Dog. Under Dre Dog, he released two albums, including The New Jim Jones in 1993, and I Hate You With a Passion in 1995. The latter album reached number 79 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts as well as number 3 on the Heatseekers chart. Eventually, he changed his stage name to Andre Nickatina in 1997.
Andre Nickatina's record label began releasing albums once he changed his stage name. One of the notable studio albums included Cocaine Raps on April 19, 1995. He has also collaborated with many other artist albums throughout the years. His other studio albums include Reven in My Eyes (June 23, 1998), Tears of a Clown (May 18, 1999), Daiquiri Factory: Cocaine Raps, Vol. 2 (June 6, 2000), and These R the Tales (November 14, 2000).
