Disney Live! It is the famous live touring show, which is based on Disney TV series and Disney films. This show is a production done by Vienna-based Feld Entertainment. Disney Live! It was open on June 16, 2004, and the first production was Winnie The Pooh. It was played at the Westpac Centre in Christchurch (New Zealand).
Disney Live! Winnie The Pooh is a tour story where a surprise birthday party is planned for the Pooh (the best buddy bear of Winnie The Pooh characters). The production features some of the famous characters from the original “Winnie The Pooh,” including Tiggers, Kanga, Roo, Owl, Rabbit, Eeyore, Piglet, and of course, Winnie the Pooh himself. This magical day is held in the Hundred Acre Woods (where Winnie lives).
Each of the characters featured in Disney Live! Winnie The Pooh tour is assigned a particular task such as; Piglet is responsible for keeping the Pooh away from the birthday surprise, Rabbit is handed the cake preparation, Roo is busy with the decorations, and Tigger, as always, bringing more problems to everyone (but he doesn’t forget to search for the best present). The tour is full of fun, dance, music, comedy, and whatnot.
The stage-show also has three hunny-helpers who are responsible for entertaining the crowd before the show starts, during intermission, and even during the show to help the story better. The three hunny-helpers are acrobats, general showmen, and clowns. The beloved songs that complete Disney Live! Winnie The Pooh, including Rumbly in my Tumbly, Wonderful Thing About Tiggers, and Winnie the Pooh, are also heard.
Disney Live! Winnie The Pooh is 1 hour and 10 minutes in length with a 15-minute intermission (when 45 minutes of the show are passed). The show is incomplete without the Pooh merchandise, popcorn in a Pooh Bucket, and cotton candies with Tigger hat.
