Directed by the Emmy Award–winning producer/director Pam Chu (Dancing With the Stars, New Kids on the Block, RuPaul's Drag Race), CHEER Live was conceived by Monica Aldama and Andy Cosferent. After starring in the Emmy-winning Netflix docuseries "Cheer," one of the most successful athletic coaches in the country, Monica Aldama, became an overnight superstar. The series explores her amazing leadership in creating one of the most successful cheerleading programs in the country. Aldama is regarded as a trailblazer in the field of cheerleading because she consistently raises the bar with a unique blend of a bright, high-achieving mindset, financial acumen, and incredible empathy and dedication to her students.
