Yukon Blonde Information
Yukon Blonde is an indie rock band from Kelowna, British Columbia. Since 2009, the group has called Vancouver home. Everything in Everyway was Yukon Blonde's first extended play. In 2010, they released a self-titled album, recorded live on tape. Shawn Cole has worked with bands like Bend Sinister, and You Say Party! We Say Die! produced both of their albums.
The band has performed at major United States and Canada music festivals, including South by Southwest. The band was designated one of the "10 Canadian bands destined to break in 2010" by the CBC and was hailed as the best of the 2010 Canadian Music Week festival by Chart. Tiger Talk is a 2012 album by the same name. The band was shortlisted for the 2013 Juno Award for Best New Group.
The band gave fans their first taste of new music on March 17, 2015, with the debut of their track "Saturday Night" in Paste Magazine. Together with Hey Rosetta!, the band released the album-less single "Land You Love" in October 2015 as a statement against the results of the 2015 federal election.
