Yo Gotti Information

Mario Sentell Giden Mims (May 19, 1981), known professionally as Yo Gotti, is an American rapper. He first came to prominence in 1996 with the release of Youngsta's On a Come Up, his debut album as Lil Yo. Mario was a resident of the Frayser area of Memphis, Tennessee, where he spent his formative years at Ridgecrest Apartments. Around the time he turned 14 years old, he started rapping under the name Lil Yo and was associated with DJ Sound and his group.

Some of the hit albums include From Da Dope Game 2 Da Rap Game (2000), Self-Explanatory (2001), Life (2003), Back two da Basics (2006), Live from the Kitchen (2012), I Am (2013), The Art of Hustle (2016), I Still Am (2017), Untrapped (2020), and CM10: Free Game (2022).

2012 Gotti established the record label Collective Music Group (CMG). Since then, CMG has signed musicians, including Mozzy, Blac Youngsta, Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, GloRilla, and EST Gee.

Under a new deal, he and Epic released the "Recession Proof" track in July 2020 under his label CMG. Yo Gotti joined the ownership group of D.C. United, a Major League Soccer team, in September 2021. After being introduced to the game by his son, he observed its development over the years.

CM10: Free Game, Gotti's 11th studio album, was originally scheduled for a November 2021 release; however, it was postponed for reasons that are still unclear. February 2022 was the final month for its release. "Free" and "Game" make up the album's two hit disks.
