Winter Wonder Grass Festival Information
WinterWonderGrass is a bluegrass and roots music event held in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Olympic Valley, California, and Manchester, Vermont. Multiple stages, day and nighttime acts, local and regional craft beer tastings, sustainable event production practices, and children's areas are all part of the festival, with a portion of the proceeds going to local charities.
The Infamous Stringdusters, Billy Strings, Greensky Bluegrass, and Elephant Revival are among the regular artists at WinterWonderGrass. WinterWonderWoman, an all-female bluegrass fest with a rotating cast of musicians from the festival program, is a spin-off of the event.
WinterWonderGrass began in Manchester, Vermont, in 2018, at the base of Stratton Mountain, with headliners The Infamous Stringdusters, Railroad Earth, and Billy Strings. The 2019 event returned to Squaw Valley for the fifth time, attracting over 4,000 attendees and regulars Greensky Bluegrass, Trampled by Turtles, and Leftover Salmon, as well as 2019 Grammy Award winner for Best Bluegrass Album, The Travelin' McCourys.
Molly Tuttle, Greensky Bluegrass, and Grammy-nominated country singer-songwriter Margo Price performed at the 2020 WinterWonderGrass in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. WWG TV was created by WinterWonderGrass and premiered on Facebook and YouTube in 2020.
