West End Blend Information
West End Blend, a funk/soul band from the Northeast, has been performing its interpretation of funk and soul in venues all around the region since its inception. The band, led by vocalist Erica Bryan, pays homage to legendary throwback sounds while infusing them with their unique attitude and flair. The Blend performs with a four-piece horn section, two guitars, bass, keyboards, and drums every night. The Blend's mission has always been to bring that same environment to every show since its humble beginnings in an epic hot funky basement dance celebration.
In 2015, The Blend released their first full-length album, "rewind." Brendan Morawski, a Grammy Award-winning engineer, engineered the album at Telefunken Studios. Throughout 2015 and 2016, West End Blend performed alongside Turkuaz, break science, kung fu, twiddle, sister sparrow & the dirty birds, the nth power, the motet, and a slew of other jam/funk acts. As they launched their fall tour across the Northeast, the Blend released their latest EP, "say hi!" on September 28th, 2016. They shared the stage alongside Dopapod, The Nth Power, Turkuaz, Hayley Jane & The Primates, Deep Banana Blackout, and others during their Fall tour.
