Welshly Arms is another famous American blues-rock band. The group originated from Cleveland, Ohio. The band's name is a reference to a Saturday Night Live sketch. The current lineup of Welshly Arms includes Sam Getz (lead vocals, guitar), Jimmy Weaver (bass, vocals), Brett Lindemann (keyboard, vocals), Mikey Gould (drums), and Bri Bryant, along with Jon Bryant (vocals).
Welshly Arms debuted in 2013 with an EO entitled Welcome. The group has been active since. Another EP came out the following year, which was a covers EP. In 2015, the band released its self-titled album. All the band's material is written, recorded, and produced in Cleveland. Some of the major group's influences include The Temptations, Otis Redding, Jimi Hendrix, and Howlin' Wolf. Some of the band's hometown musicians who influenced them are The James Gang, The O'Jays, and The Black Keys.
Music by Welshly Arms1 has been featured in two popular films, The Hateful Eight and The D Train (starring Jack Black). "Legendary" is a hit song by the band that was chosen as the official theme song for WWE's TLC pay-per-view 2017. Another single, "Sanctuary," was featured in Lucifer season 3. "Legendary" was also used in Asphalt 9: Legends.
