The Quins Information
The Quins aren't hesitant to embrace their traditional rock, blues, punk, and soul influences in a way that isn't overdone and appeals to a modern audience interested in a wide variety of musical styles. Their live performances are high-octane affairs that unite the audience and prove to today's youth that guitars are hip. The Quins are a band that, to live up to the legacy of their musical idols, should have been born in 1942 with Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Queen, the Grateful Dead, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, and the Eagles. They are not frightened by the modern world and are willing to go alone if necessary to protect the integrity of Rock & Roll in its purest form.
They've been steadily creating a name for themselves in the rock and festival scenes over the past five years, releasing three full-length albums and four singles and performing nonstop across the Northeastern United States. Stephen Marley, Slightly Stoopid, Samantha Fish, and Lake Street Dive are among the artists they've performed alongside on the same bill.
The Quins' nominations for the 2018 New England Music Award for Best Rock Act and 2019 New England Music Award for Band of the Year follow the success of their sophomore studio album, "Beech Hill," which was released in December 2017. They have been asked to play at prestigious events like the Boston Freedom Rally, the Levitate Music and Arts Festival, and the Terptown Throwdown.
