The Dust Devil Choir is an American blue-country-rock n’ roll band founded in January 2018 from Kansas City, MO. The band's current lineup includes John Duling - bass, vocals; Jan Faircloth - drums, vocals; Logan Heer - keyboards, vocals; Jake Koivisto – guitar; and Sean McDonnell - guitar, lead vocals. The group members are known to be a great representation of American Music at its finest.
The Dust Devil Choir has a sound that is not entirely blues nor is it ultimately country, but it is very much American rock and roll. The audience always experiences jaw-dropping moments when the band performs.
The Dust Devil Choir share its influences to be The Allman Brothers Band, Beck, The Misfits, Prince, The Marcus King Band, The Neville Brothers, James McMurtry, Hayes Carll, The Blasters, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Meters, Wood Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks, Tab Benoit, and Jason Isbell.
The band was selected in August 2018, to represent the Topeka Blues Society at the 2019 International Blues Competition that took place in Memphis TN.
