The Breeders Information
The Breeders are an influential alt-rock band, assembled in the late 1980s by Kim Deal of Pixies and Tanya Donelly of Throwing Muses. The band is known for its mix of punk, indie rock, and grunge and largely rode to fame due to its 1993 hit album Last Splash and its biggest hit single, “Cannonball.” They secured themselves as a driving band of the 1990s alternative rock lineup by combining raw sound, catchy riffs, and distinctive vocals.
