The Babys Information
The Babys are a British rock band founded in 1975 in London, England. The music of the group is classified as hard rock, power pop, and pop-rock. The band's current lineup consists of Wally Stocker - lead guitar; Tony Brock - drums, piano, backing, and vocals; John Bisaha - bass, lead vocals; and Joey Sykes – guitars. Some former members include John Waite and Jonathan Cain.
In 1977, The Babys purchased a 24 track mobile unit for recording their music. The first eponymous album by the band was recorded in Toronto, Canada, released in January 1977. One of the most celebrated singles included in this album is "If You've Got The Time." The second album by the group was Broken Heart, which came out in September 1977. Some of the other notable studio albums by the Babys are Head First, Union Jacks, On the Edge, and I'll Have Some of That!
Anthology was a compilation album by the Babys, released in 1981. The band also released two live albums, Valentine Babys 2001 and Live in America 2008. A few of the hit singles by the group include "Midnight Rendezvous," "Turn and Walk Away," "Back on My Feet Again," "True Love True Confessions," "Silver Dreams," and "Every Time I Think of You."
