Texas Flood Information
Texas Flood is a native Serbian band founded in 2004 by Nenad Zlatanovic, who was both a guitarist and singer. The group intended to play rock/blues-influenced music by Led Zeppelin, Gov't Mule, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Texas Flood formed as a quartet in the beginning, but the group became a trio in 2007. The consistent members of the band since then are Vladimir Golubovic and Nenad Zlatanovic. The current lineup of the band today consists of Stevie Ray Vaughan – guitar, vocals; Chris Layton – drums; and Tommy Shannon – bass.
So far, Texas Flood has played more than 1,000 live concerts in the region of Serbia and Belgrade. Texas Flood has even performed in several festivals including Master Blues Fest, Blues Summit 2007, Voxstock 2007, North City 2007, Beer Fest 2012, Luxemburg Blues Festival 2012, Moto Rock Fest 2012, Blues & Soul Fest 2011, Gastroblues 2010, Timisoara Blues Fest 2012, Crossroads Festival 2012, Rorschach jazz Club 2014, and Beer Garden Festival from 2015 to 2019.
Texas Flood published their debut album in their native Serbian language with a total of 9 songs on the album. The band has collaborated with many other groups as well as individuals for joint concerts, including Osmi Putnik, Alen Islamovic, Kerber, Hladno Pivo, Crvena Jabuka, Divlje Jagode, YU Grupa, Atomsko skloniste, and Riblja Corba.
Some of their notable singles include "Love Struck Baby," "Pride and Joy," "Mary Had a Little Lamb," and "Tin Pan Alley (aka Roughest Place in Town)."
