Edy Edouard (December 16, 1997) is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper. He is professionally known as Snot. He was born in New York City and moved to West Palm Beach at seven. There he would begin his rap career in 2016 through SoundCloud. Snot shot to stardom in September 2018 with the release of his hit track "Gosha."
Snot started his music career in high school in 2016, telling Complex's Jack Angell that he enjoyed the likes of "Xavier Wulf, Bones, Yung Lean, Lil Wayne, and Tyler, the Creator." Snot elaborated on the subject by telling interviewers, "That's how I got into it, and things started to happen after that. My friend Wetback Manny had already started putting stuff on SoundCloud and had shown me how to record and utilize a microphone. That's when I did it by myself, but I was using a USB mic, which was quite bad. Manny acquired a condenser mic after that, so I guess I got lucky."
Snot released the track "Whipski" on April 9, 2021, which features a guest appearance by fellow rapper and vocalist Lil Skies. It'll most likely be the lead single from his upcoming third album. Snot's first major chart hit was "Whipski," which reached 25 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100. Snot partnered with fellow rapper Cochise on the single "Tell Em" on May 27, 2021. This was his and Cochise's first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching number 64.
