Six Appeal Information
Professional a cappella ensemble Six Appeal is based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Six Appeal conducts roughly 150 gigs annually nationwide on their national tour. Michael Brookens and Jordan Roll formed Six Appeal in the fall of 2006 while attending Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. During their time at Concordia University, they started off playing music as a fun side pastime. After the founding members completed their degrees that same year (2010), they established a permanent residence in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and began performing professionally.
By the close of 2011, Six Appeal was a full-time touring act. As a group, they visited 49 different states and played shows in countries like Russia and China. Michael Brookens, Jordan Roll, Andrew Berkowitz, Reuben Hushagen, Virginia Cavaliere, and Mel Daneke are the current band members and the two original members. As of March 29, 2012, the band Six Appeal has performed live with recording artist Andy Grammer thanks to an online competition they won. The concert was on March 30, 2013, at the Skyway Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Six Appeal triumphed at the 2012 Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival on May 12, winning both the Audience Favorite and Best Original Song prizes. The group Six Appeal won the Pacific Northwest Harmony Sweepstakes regional competition in 2012 and won the prizes for Audience Favorite, Best Original Song, and Best Original Arrangement at the national competition.
