Seth Glier (November 16, 1988) is an American activist, guitarist, pianist, singer, and songwriter. He spent a year studying at Berklee College of Music before leaving to go on tour full-time. Since then, he has performed an average of over 200 times a year and has performed on stages alongside musicians including James Taylor, Mark Knopfler, The Verve Pipe, Edwin McCain, and Ani DiFranco. He has performed at the Kerrville Folk Festival and the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in New York (TX). Seth was compared to Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel by USA Today.
If I Could Change One Thing, Glier's fourth album was released by MPress Records in 2015. The album transitioned from his earlier, more acoustic albums into popular music. The title single, a duet with Crystal Bowersox, a former contestant on American Idol, has a music video that debuted on Billboard.com.
The Next Right Thing, Glier's 2011 album, was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category "Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical." Glier recorded his vocals in his parents' basement. For his song "Naia," he won Best Love Song at the 10th Annual Independent Music Awards in 2011. At the Independent Music Awards in 2012, "Next Right Thing" won Best Social Action Song.
