Set It Off - Band Information
Set It Off is a punk band consisting of Maxx Danziger (drums), Zach DeWall (guitar, bass, and backing vocals), and Cody Carson (lead vocals, alto saxophone, clarinet, guitarist, piano, and keyboards). DeWall and Kerr were early recruits, and Dan Clermont soon joined them.
The band's signing to Equal Vision Records was announced on July 19, 2011. On August 30, 2011, the band announced they would release a remastered version of their self-released EP, Horrible Kids, via Equal Vision Records alongside the track "Chase It!" The album debuted in the Alternative Albums top 100 on iTunes shortly after its release. Recording for Horrible Kids occurred at Wilson, North Carolina's Red Sparrow Studios. Brandon Ham and John Harrell did the production, engineering, and mixing.
Set It Off announced the release of their first studio album, Cinematics, in July 2012. On September 18, 2012, a deluxe edition was released. Equal Vision Records announced in a video posted to YouTube on January 2, 2014 that Set It Off would work with John Feldmann on a new album.
