Royal Jelly Jive is an American high-energy soul-rock band that is based in San Francisco. The band was founded in July 2013. Their music style is inspired by hip-hop, soul, rock, and swing. The band consists of Lauren Bjelde (vocals), Jesse Lemme Adams (keys, guitar, and accordion), Tyden Binsted (double bass and fender bass), Felix Macnee (drums), Robby Elfman (saxophones and clarinet), Luke Zavala (trombone), and Danny Cao (trumpet).

The best term the group uses for itself is “San Francisco Soul” due to its intoxicating and unique sound. Frontwoman Bjelde leads the band. Royal jelly Jive blends throwback and modern music sensibilities. The band members are armed with groovy songs, razor-sharp beats, and retro horn that always produce an environment of once more.
Royal Jelly Jive has produced two full-length studio albums so far, including Stand Up (2016) and Limited Preserve No. 3 (2019). They have also headlined the sold-out shows all across the United States. Royal Jelly Jive is also known for their tireless touring schedule. The band also appears on the stage of festivals such as Napa Valley’s Bottlerock.
