Rock to Recovery is a program that uses the transformative potential of collaborative music-making to aid in the Recovery and rehabilitation of its participants. Wesley Geer established it on December 12th, 2012—a regular feature on the schedules of more than 100 rehabs in California, Oregon, and Tennessee. The Air Force Wounded Warrior (AFW2) program aids injured service members and their families worldwide.
Fifteen full-time program administrators administer more than 500 sessions per month. More than 20,000 songs have been co-created by patients and staff members during their time together. Veterans, young people, and individuals battling substance abuse, bulimia, and other mental health concerns are all among their clientele.
