Alexander Anyaegbunam is an Irish rapper and songwriter. He is originally from Drumcondra, Dublin. He is professionally known by his stage name, Rejjie Snow. He went to Belvedere College SJ. Snow moved to the United States and started attending school at Montverde Academy in Florida, where he played soccer on an athletic scholarship. In 2012, he completed his graduation from high school and attended Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. Snow studied one semester, then moved back to Ireland, where he decided to pursue music as a full-time career.
In June 2013, Snow released his debut EP entitled, Rejovich. The EP topped the iTunes Hip-Hop chart. It was ahead of releases from J. Cole and Kanye West. The EP “1992” track crossed one million views on YouTube. He also released his official debut single in June 2015 entitled “All Around the World.” The video of the single featured Lily-Rose Depp. The single was played more than 500,000 times in its first week.
Snow signed a record deal with 300 Entertainment in 2016 and released the track “D.R.U.G.S” in September. He also confirmed that the long-awaited Dear Annie is also near to finish. Snow came up with a free mixtape entitled, The Moon & You. Dear Annie was eventually released on February 16, 2018.
