Razor Braids Information
Brooklyn's Razor Braids, who identify as queer, female, and non-binary, combine punk energy with indie rock sensitivity for exciting live shows and an authentic '90s alternative sound.
Since then, they have performed at Baby's All Right in tribute to the internet phenomenon DeathbyRomy, as well as at Pianos, Elsewhere, Union Pool (Album Release), Sultan Room, Brooklyn Made, TV Eye, and Brooklyn Made, all of which they headlined and sold out. Furthermore, Razor Braids has backed Rough Trade acts like Jigsaw Youth, The Wild Things, Anna Shoemaker, Thelma and the Sleaze, and Tchotchke f.n.a. Pinky Pinky.
On December 4, 2021, Razor Braids released their debut studio album, titled I Could Cry Right Now If You Wanted Me To, and immediately set out on an extensive tour of the Midwest, the South, and the East Coast to promote the album. In May, Razor Braids dropped not one but two new singles: Kellogg's and a live, personal cover of Megachurch. Megachurch was recently added to the Spotify "Fresh Finds" and "Fresh Finds Folk" official playlists.
