Rahsaan Patterson Information
Rahsaan Patterson (January 11, 1974) is an American actor and singer. In 1984, Patterson tried out for the kid's variety show Kids Incorporated after performing in a school talent show. Later famous faces like Fergie, Renee Sands, Martika, Mario Lopez, and Shanice appeared on the show during his run as "The Kid." Patterson earned experience as a backup singer for several acts after leaving Kids Incorporated (including Kids co-star Martika).
In 1995, Patterson inked a contract with MCA Records. On January 28, 1997, Ira Schickman released his debut album, which featured collaborations with Keith Crouch and Jamey Jaz. On Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, the album reached position number 48. Both singles ('Stop By' and 'Where You Are,' which reached No. 53 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list) were released.
After Hours, Patterson's third studio album was released worldwide in April 2004 to rave reviews. The album entered the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart at position #65. Billboard ignored the hits "So Hot," "April's Kiss," and "Forever Yours." Additional teamwork ensued.
