PVRIS Information
Pvris (pronounced "Paris" and stylized as PVRIS) is an American pop-rock band formed in Lowell, Massachusetts, in 2012. The current group, which includes frontwoman Lynn Gunn, results from many lineup changes. Originally known as Operation Guillotine, the group first came together in 2009 in Lowell, Massachusetts. They started as a five-piece metalcore band with lead singer Kyle Anthony.
The band first declared a July 10, 2020, release date for Use Me on April 8, 2020. On July 2, 2020, they announced another postponement until August 28, 2020. The album's deluxe edition came out on October 22, 2020. Pvris started tweeting about their upcoming two singles on October 10, 2022.
The band posted links to pre-save the singles on various music outlets every day until their release on October 20, 2022. A short video created by Jax Anderson and Lynn Gunn, which debuted on YouTube, accompanied the new music. On March 30, 2023, the announcement that Pvris's fourth studio album, Evergreen, will be released on July 14, 2023, was made.
