Peter Cincotti Information
Peter Cincotti (July 11, 1983) is an American singer and songwriter born in New York City. At the age of three, Cincotti began playing a toy piano, and throughout high school, he performed regularly at clubs throughout the Manhattan area and the White House. He won a rendition award, A Night in Tunisia of Dizzy Gillespie, during the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2000.
Cincotti released his self-titled debut album, which was a compilation of traditional jazz songs. It also included collaborations with his brother, mother, and sister on “Are You the One?” and “Lovers, Secrets, Lies.” His next album entitled “On the Moon” combined rock, funk, jazz, and pop elements. In 2007, his third studio album was released in Europe, and in January 2009, it was released in the United States. The album was entitled “East of Angel Town,” and it featured some original works.
Cincotti went on touring around the world to promote his album with the single “Goodbye Philadelphia.” Later, he joined Seal on tour in the United States. He also collaborated with French DJ David Guetta, and together they appeared on the Star Academy’s finale. The two of them performed “Love is Gone.” Cincotti released his fourth studio album entitled “Metropolis.” John Fields produced the album, and it was released worldwide in the spring of 2012. Cincotti has worked with two record labels throughout his career that are Concord Records and 143 Records.
