Paula Fuga (1978) is an American artist with an unmistakable voice, undeniable story, and unbreakable spirit. She is from Fort Polk South, Louisiana, and grew up as a poet. Fuga is heavily praised for her originality in song composition, along with soulful vocals. Apart from being one of Hawaii’s Top Female Entertainers, a poet, singer, and songwriter, Fuga is also an accomplished ukulele musician, under Master Instructor Roy Sakuma’s instructions. Fuga embraces different genres of music and combines them with her signature entrancing vocals.
Paula Fuga released her debut album entitled Lilikoi in 2006. The album won the prestigious Na Hoku Hanohano Award for the category of ‘Most Promising Artist’. It was followed by her extended play named Misery’s End in 2010. The EP featured special guest appearances by Jack Johnson and Ziggy Marley. Fuga is also known for headlining the global music circuit and debuting Madison Square Garden’s stages. She is also a three-time return guest artist to The White House and performed at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt. Fuga was honored to perform alongside the famous Hawaiian cultural icon, Kaumakaiwa Kanaka’ole, while taking part in the 52nd Annual Merrie Monarch Hula Festival.
Fuga was featured on “Love Will Find a Way,” and Trevor Hall and Nahko Bear by Mike Love, her lifelong collaborator and guitarist. Fuga enjoys a global fanbase due to her dedicated music thriving for positive social change.
