Nepathya Information
Nepathya is a Nepalese folk rock band founded in the early 1990s. Deepak Rana, Bhim Poon, and Amrit Gurung developed Nepathya while still students in Kathmandu, Nepal. The band has had both critical and commercial triumphs. Renowned for their modern songs with strong links to traditional music and lyrics employing languages from rural Nepal, Nepathya is.
On August 3, 2013, Nepathya became the first band from Nepal to play at Wembley Arena in England. Subsonic Routes and Parcha Productions (Nawal Rai and Samir Gurung) co-presented the concert. Still, the biggest performance by a Nepali band is Nepathya's Wembley Arena concert.
Most people agree that Nepathya is among the best and most successful Nepali music bands. Over their musical career, Nepathya has toured many more nations like the UK, the U.S., Australia, Japan, Israel, Germany, Finland, India, and many more. Early work by Nepathya was inspired by folk-pop music, but with time, their style grew more rock-inspired.
