Mrs. Henry Information
Mrs. Henry is an American Post Modern 70's band from San Diego, California. The group was founded in 2012 and started as a newly evolved version of Dick Justice and the Happy Smoke. The current lineup of the band includes Dan Cervantes - Guitar & Vox, Jody Bagley - Keys & Vox, Blake Dean - Bass & Vox, and Chad Lee – Drums. The band members are influenced by Soundgarden, Yes, The Allman Brothers Band, The Faces, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Band, Traffic, Bob Dylan, Deep Purple, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, The Kinks, King Crimson, The Grateful Dead, Prince, The Eagles, and of course The Beatles.
Mrs. Henry debuted with a West Coast tour in 2015. Since then, the group has a mission of bringing live music into a new era, unapologetically. The band released Vol. II (Blind Owl) in 2017. Mrs. Henry completed their ambitious two-volume debut, and the album got nominated for Best Live Performer by the San Diego Music Awards.
Some of the later discographies by Mrs. Henry are THE LAST WALTZ - the four vinyl set, a 40-minute documentary premiered at the Oceanside International Film Festival. "The River" was another single by the band which was released in 2019. In 2020, Mrs. Henry released a second live album entitled "Live at the Casbah."
