Midnight North, reflecting on their origins, is ready to tell the world their story. Midnight North is a multi-instrumentalist band with folk and Americana songwriting roots. They are a regular on the national touring circuit. In its review of the 2018 Peach Music Festival, Rolling Stone named Midnight North the "Greatest New Act."
In San Francisco, Grahame Lesh, Elliott Peck, and Connor O'Sullivan began playing together. They performed their debut gig as Grahame Lesh & Friends in early 2012. Grahame and Elliott contributed a repertoire of original music to this new collaboration, which proved to be a fantastic match once the band began performing regularly. The band went to the studio for the first time in late 2012, recording their debut album, End of the Night, in two days. End of the Night (mixed and produced by Connor) was released in June 2013, marking the band's official debut as Midnight North.
The band began touring with the release of their second album, Scarlet Skies, in June 2015. That kicked off a five-year tour as a touring band, with shows in 36 states and front of thousands of people across the country. In the summer of 2017, they released Under the Lights, their most successful studio album.
