Micky Dolenz Information
George Michael Dolenz Jr. (March 8, 1945) is an American musician and actor, Co-star of the T.V. series The Monkees (1966–1968), was the drummer and one of two main vocalists for the pop rock band The Monkees. Dolenz is the lone remaining band member. Early into the mid-1960s, Dolenz formed his rock band known as "Micky and the One-Nighters," with himself serving as lead vocalist. He has started penning his tunes.
Dolenz traveled with Nesmith as "The Mike and Micky Show" in 2018 and 2019 following Tork's death 2019. Dolenz and Nesmith announced "The Monkies Farewell Tour," the group's final. May 4, 2021: The tour had 40 U.S. stops from September to November. November 14, 2021, was the last performance at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Dolenz Sings Nesmith, a solo album he released on May 21, 2021, has Christian Nesmith produced and tracks penned by Nesmith. Dolenz issued an extended play (E.P.) consisting of cover songs by R.E.M. on November 3, 2023.
