The singer, Majid Al Maskati, and the producer, Jordan Ullman, are both from Toronto, Ontario. They together make up the Canadian R&B duo "Majid Jordan." Drake, Noah "40" Shebib, and Oliver El-Khatib launched the record company OVO Sound in 2011, and the band released their debut extended play, A Place Like This, in 2014.
Drake's 2013 single "Hold On, We're Going Home" was included on his platinum-selling album "Nothing Was the Same". Majid Jordan is listed as a co-producer and featured artist on the tune. Drake's most prominent international hit, "Hold On, We're Going Home," topped the charts in several nations.
