Madchild Information
Shane Bunting (October 21, 1975) is a Canadian rapper. He was born in Surrey, British Columbia. He is professionally known by his stage name, Madchild. He is a member of the Vancouver rap crew Swollen Members. As a solo artist, he dropped an EP in 2009 named The Madchild EP. His first album, Dope Sick, came out in 2012 and was followed by Lawn Mower Man in 2013 and Silver Tongue Devil in 2015. He was officially inducted into the Rock Steady Crew in 1993. Released in 2017, The Darkest Hour is in its second year of sales.
In August of 2011, he returned to his origins by competing in a rap fight for King of the Dot, a battle league based in Ontario, Canada. He fought Dirtbag Dan and was victorious by a 3-2. The fight with Australian rapper 360 was supposed to go down at King of the Dot in August 2012. However, the event had to be rescheduled since 360 needed ocular surgery. Madchild has confirmed his continued interest in the fight. When rapper Daylyt faced up against Madchild in KOTD's Blackout5 in 2015, Madchild was there to compete.
