David McCleary Sheldon (July 25, 1981) is known professionally as Mac Lethal. He is an American rapper, songwriter, and author. Mac Lethal is from Kansas City, Missouri. He is known as the founder of Black Clover Records. Mac Lethal was also a former radio host on KRBZ 96.5 the Buzz show named Black Clover Radio. His music genre is hip hop majorly.
Mac Lethal began his career with a debut studio album entitled, Men Are from Mars, Pornstars Are from Earth. It was released on HHI Recordings in 2002. In that same year, he won the Scribble Jam rap battle. In 2004, he was taken to the Fuck Clear Channel Tour by Sage Francis. He released a studio album entitled 11:11, in 2007. On November 30, 2011, Mac Lethal posted a video on YouTube in which he rapped the beat to Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now" while preparing a dish of pancakes in his kitchen. The video got millions of views and was included in Spin's "10 Most Contagiously Viral Musical Web Sensations of 2011" list.
In the same year, Mac Lethal released a studio album entitled Irish Goodbye, on Black Clover Records. It was followed by Congratulations (2016). He also runs a Tumblr feed called "Texts from Bennett." Mac Lethal also released the novel of the same name, Texts from Bennett: A Novel, in 2013 on Simon & Schuster.
Binge Thinking is a television show which premiered on MTV2 on April 1, 2016, was hosted by Mac Lethal and Amber Diamond.
