Lorenzo Antonio Sánchez Pohl (October 3, 1969) is an American Latin music singer-songwriter well-known in Mexico and across Latin America. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He grew up in Mexico and speaks English and Spanish very fluently. Although he has released songs in English, most of his music is in Spanish. Antonio turned his concentration toward his sister, Sparx, in the middle of the 1990s.
Antonio devoted his time to penning music for them as they were beginning to become well-known in the U.S. Latin market. Antonio secured a record deal with Fonovisa Records in the latter part of the 1990s with the company. His recorded albums were primarily aimed at the Regional Mexican market during this period. As a result, Antonio's record sales during this period were among the highest of his career.
Filmed live and published as a video, Lorenzo Antonio duetted with Ana Bárbara on the song "Caray" in 2014. Inspired by their friend Juan Gabriel, only days after his death, Lorenzo Antonio sang a duet with Yolanda del Río of the song "Se Me Olvidó Otra Vez." A video and a single audio release followed live filming of this performance.
